i woke up terribly late this morning and had no time to shower and get ready for work. i rushed out of the house wearing uggs, jeans, shirt, green blazer-jacket thing, and a saggy beanine. i thought i looked stylish til Di asked "what were you rolling around in hay or something "while picking out randoms pieces of grass or hay from my beanie.

muscrat has the day off work and texted to see if i wanted him to make me lunch at home (we are tying to save $). the options were sandwich, spaghetti-o's, or tuna. none sounding tasty, i suggested mac n' cheese at my house with hopes of having time to change my clothes & possibly shower.muscrat: what time
me: 1. but just to warn you. i look like a bum today
muscrat: a bum?
me: yeah, homeless
muscrat: what do you mean?
me: i'm wearing a beanie
muscrat: so bum's wear beanies?
me: yup! just like me
i pulled up to my house at 1 to find my boyfriend waiting patiently by the front door.
i should have taken a picture and i am regretting not doing so because i wish i had this picture to share with you all. he was wearing tennis shoes with two different mis-matched socks, plaid shorts, a sweater inside out, and... yes.. you guessed it. a beanie. he was holding windex and a towel.
muscrat: wash your window? one dolla'
me: what are you wearing? (i giggled while admiring how cute he looked)
muscrat: i figured you looked like a bum & i didn't want you to feel bad so i tagged along... now get inside and hop in the shower, ill make the mac n' cheese.
sweetest, most creative, and thoughtful (i might add) boyfriend there is! Gosh im a lucky girl!
